BYO Cocktail: Recipe for Socially Distant Holiday Gatherings

The holidays are upon us, and way back in the Before Times, that meant a season dedicated to attending holiday blow outs with friends and loved ones. Family gatherings today might be few and far between and look a little different than in previous years, but you can still celebrate in 2020 while being socially responsible. One reliable way to do so is to BYOC– bring your own cocktails, cups and cutlery.

We’ve teamed up with some of our favorite brands on a holiday cocktail recipe and a Holiday Cheer Kit giveaway to kick off the season (sign up for a chance to win at the bottom of this post).

Apple Pie Gin Cocktail

Packing List

Gin (we’re using Gray Whale Gin)
Apple cider
Homemade Cinnamon Simple Syrup (recipe below)

Cinnamon Simple Syrup

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
2 cinnamon sticks

Bring ingredients to a boil, turn off the heat and let everything steep for about 30 mins.

Using the built-in measuring top on the Elevated Craft Cocktail Shaker, combine 6 oz Gin, 9 oz apple cider, and 2 oz cinnamon simple syrup into the shaker base. Top the prep off with ice, give it a few good shakes and stash the shaker in your Pakt Bag until you are ready to go. When you get to the party, serve the cocktail in your trusty reusable Pirani Tumbler, and enjoy!
