MODE Bottle Sleeve

Definitely a necessary addition but

It’s hard to get water bottles in the sleeve. The flimsy but durable material folds under the weight of the bottle making it challenging to secure with one hand. I found that putting the bottle in upside down has been the best method for me.

Once the bottle is in, it is fairly secure and lightweight. Overall a necessary addition to my daybag.

Price is Steep

One of few sling bags that can fit decent sized laptops. Main issues are the price, the straps aren’t the most comfortable and the pencil until area can’t fit regular sized pens. Had to get half sized g2 pens

Too hard to get bottles into

I reached out to Pakt when considering this accessory. I have the 15L everyday bag. It is an excellent bag. I use it as my commuter bag every day. It came with one bottle sleeve. This has worked out great. I needed another though so I could put a small travel umbrella in that pocket and a bottle in the other. Pakt said the pouch should be perfect for my needs. I have had it for several months now. Unfortunately it has been nothing but a disappointment. It is extremely difficult to get a bottle or anything into the mouth of the pouch. This is annoying when using a crossbody strap and have a bottle to put in. I have to completely take the bag off and brace it so I can open the pouch. This is a nuisance when traveling and refilling a bottle at airports. While I love my Pakt travel backpack and all my other purchases from Pakt, this pouch is not worth the money. The pouch is the black accessory on the side in the photo.
