We may not be going anywhere for a while, but we can still plan our future adventures. Why not use the help of our community of travelers? We’re collecting tips from the Pakt Pack to build out maps of all the destinations we’re headed to post-quarantine. When we’re all cleared to travel again, we’ll have a bunch of tips from the Pakt Community to stack our itineraries with!
Based on the 800+ submissions for Cancelled Travel that was sent in by our community, many of you were planning trips to Southeast Asia. This is an area we know particularly well (and love), as we travel there often to visit our bag factory partners in Vietnam!
Bangkok, Thailand "Not into the glitzy rooftop bars and ditto crowd Bangkok is dotted with? Do want an amazing view over the city's skyline? And have some live music while you are at it? Go to the Skytrain Jazzbar at Victory Monument. It takes a lanky flight of stairs all the way to the top but then you are greeted with a fun vintage ambiance. Go on Monday and there is an open jam session under guidance of Will, a giant of an American, who sings in Thai, fluently. Buy him a Whiskey Sour and you have made a friend for life."
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam One of our favorite unexpected finds was through Airbnb Experiences– we booked a street food scooter tour led by a group of local students and spent the night zipping around the streets and eating amazing food.
