The harness system was inspired by the comfort of trekking backpacks and designed to provide all-day carry support for all shapes and sizes. The premium padded shoulder straps and back panel has been carefully tested to provide maximum breathability and comfort while you’re hustling to your gate. Load lifters above the shoulders, and removable sternum straps were included for optimum weight distribution. When removed, the double-duty hip belt completely transforms into a standalone travel bag that can be worn as a hip pack or sling for exploring your destination.

Earth-friendly materials

rPET is just as durable as nylon and has a lower carbon footprint than both nylon and organic cotton fabrics. As a company that is continuously optimizing our supply chain to decrease the environmental impact of our products, we’re thrilled to be using a recycled material for this pack.

Production that's personal

We only work with suppliers and manufacturers that we know and trust, and whose standards are just as high as our own.

Plastic-free packaging

All Pakt products are shipped in 100% plastic-free packaging: no bubble wrap, no plastic bags, no air pillows, and no Styrofoam. Our packaging proudly bears the SeaHive seal. SeaHive helps companies replace the plastic used in their packaging with earth-friendly materials so no extra plastic lands in the ocean.

My new best traveling companion

Have had a Pakt One for over four years. Still use regularly. Decided to try the Pakt Backpack and wow! Made my carry on trip such a breeze. These days with long lines at airport, having a backpack made all the difference in the world. Compartments are well thought out. The large compartments are shallower than Pakt one which requires some getting used to but I think in the end this is a better change for my back. Would be nice to have a smaller compartment on outside for my ear buds, phone, wallet etc but larger pouches were fine. Maybe a cinch closure for water bottle on side would be nice also as a smaller bottle can fall out. All in all it’s a wonderful bag and looking forward to many more trips with it. Thank you !

PS. I had a question about shipping and your team were quick to answer and were very helpful. Keep up the great customer service :)

Perfect for travel, Great bag, Very durable

This bag is amazing and absolutely durable. I think Pakt spent a lot of time on the design and the material is great. If I could offer one bit of feedback, Pakt needs to offer this bag in two sizes. The current size and a 48L version. Otherwise hands down worth the price!

Happy Customer

Very satisfied with the quality of the materials used in the pack. It will certainly serve its purpose for me long-term as I travel. It is large enough to fit most of what you need, and then some. I'm on my way to school this Fall, and I can't see myself traveling without it.

FAQs

No, both the Black backpack and the Green backpack have the same materials, hardware, and finishes.

These straps are accessory straps, which are commonly mistaken for compression straps. These adjustable straps are included in order to secure all types of items to different locations on the exterior of the bag, to save space inside the bag. This is the perfect solution to piggy-back bulky jackets, tripods, and yoga mats onto your bag.

If the straps are not securing anything and the bag is empty, the straps will easily come loose and may become unattached, as they require a certain level of tension to stay secure. When they’re not in use, simply remove them from the bag and stick them in a pocket for safekeeping.

There are 8 attachment points to give you several options on where to secure items (on either side, or across the front of the bag), but we include just 1 pair of straps because we found that most people don’t need to attach more than one item at a time.

If you’d like an additional pair, they're available for sale here.

The dedicated TSA pocket was designed for stashing and grabbing items you have to remove from your pockets before going through the security checkpoint at the airport. This pocket, as unassuming as it may appear, makes getting through TSA a breeze.

Step 1 - Rather than using the plastic bins to pass your personal items through security, pull out the mesh pocket located on the padded back panel of the Pakt Travel Backpack and stow your passport, phone, keys, and wallet securely. We like to do this while waiting in line.

Step 2 - Once through security, rather than join the scramble of travelers collecting their different belongings, you can quickly grab your bag and head to a comfortable spot to reorganize. The red label serves as a reminder to grab your laptop or anything that you had to send through the X-Ray separately.

We included an undetectable anti-theft pocket hidden in between the padded shoulder straps of the Pakt Travel Backpack. This is the perfect place to keep cash, passports, and valuables safe and hidden from sight. Lockable zipper heads on the main exterior zipper keeps items secure.

The backpack can be used as a carry-on for all major airlines, and will sometimes pass as a personal item. The bag fits perfectly in the overhead bin, and if it is not overpacked, it can fit under the seat in front of you in some major airlines.
